Rules depend on where you operate and what the call is about. In the United States, for example, collections calls can be affected by consent and do-not-call rules and by debt collection rules, plus state law. Other countries have their own regimes. This is not legal advice, so confirm the rules for each program with your compliance team.
Attempt limits and spacing between attempts can be configured where supported, so calls follow the frequency your policy sets. Exactly which controls are available for your account is confirmed in a demonstration. Set the limits with your compliance team, test them on a small list and review them whenever regulations or policies change.
Lists are managed through campaign settings, and suppression and opt-outs can be reflected in how lists are prepared and updated. Consent records usually live in your own systems and are referenced when lists are built. Your organization remains responsible for the legal basis of each contact, so keep that process documented.
Retention depends on your configuration and policy, so it is confirmed for your account rather than promised here. Call detail records can also be exported or streamed to your own systems, where you control retention. Agree retention periods with your compliance and legal teams, because obligations differ by product, country and regulator.
Integration works through the API and webhooks: account data can be loaded into campaigns and call outcomes sent back to your systems. These connections are built rather than supplied as packaged connectors, so scope them with your teams. Test with real examples, including errors, before using the integration in production.
Compliance teams can review call records, outcomes and, where available and permitted, recordings, and permissions control who can see what. Exports let reviewers work in their own tools. Ask to see the review workflow in a demonstration with your compliance team present, so the evidence they need is confirmed before launch.
Discuss your use case, existing systems, calling volumes and integration requirements with the Dialog team.
